Her paintings are a reflection of her feeling and culture. Working with watercolors gives her the freedom to express and capture what she sees. Rosa explains, that “Through the process of applying color and refining images using a sequence of washes and glazes. I am able to create desired techniques or effects to produce depth, textures, and color in my works”
This has also contributed to her passion for photography which allows her to document her personal experiences – capturing objects and scenes that later she will use in her work.
Rosa is inspired by her Peruvian roots including the vibrant colors, nature, and culture of her native country.
