Like many artists before me, travel has been my inspiration. Each location offers something unique, I work small and quickly to retain the freshness and immediacy of plein air painting.

In this new series of paintings the artist continues to explore light,color,compressed space and her personal language of meditative quiet.

Lambertson has been called a contemporary realist. The studio compositions though rooted in observation, are the synthesis of abstraction and representation.
