Alice Katz
I have been making art my entire life, having come from a family with many artistic people in it. I taught art for many years in public schools, then became a psychotherapist and author of two self-help books.
I am Program Chair of Fairfield County Arts Association and I am on the Curatorial Committee for the Fairfield Library’s Kershner Gallery.
My paintings, sculpture, and collages are about patterns, shapes, colors, and composition, using many recycled materials. Whether the art makes a statement or is whimsical, I want the viewer to see the world in a new way and to see beauty where it has been overlooked.
