The public is invited to a reception at Art/Place Gallery for “Sight-Lines”, paintings of Susanne A. Keany and Mollie Keller on Sunday, April 23 from 2 to 5 pm.  

Susanne's work is inspired by a trip she took to Cape Cod last summer which she found nostalgic to visit as the locale of her honeymoon and subsequent vacations. She became intrigued with her relationship to the landscape.  This work explores the tension between the remembered and the present.  Her paintings are an attempt to convey the mystery of the familial.

Mollie came to painting after a career as an historian/writer/archivist.  She finds it a great privilege to be expressing herself in color and image after years of fine-tuning ideas with very precise words.
