George Radwan is a mixed media artist who works with cement, plaster, sand, rusted metal, glass, weathered wood, and found objects.
George received a BFA in Advertising Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. After working on Madison Avenue as an art director for many years, George now works as a project manager at Lanserring Inc., in Soho, New York, an Austrian bespoke millwork manufacturer.
He has exhibited at Art Place Gallery in Fairfield, CT, Gordon Fine Arts Gallery in Westport, CT, the Edward Hopper House Museum in Nyack, NY, Rowayton Arts Center, Ridgefield Guild of Artists and the Stamford Loft Association. He is a member of Art Place Gallery, the Westport Artists Collective, Edward Hopper House Museum, RAC, Carriage Barn Arts Center and RGOA.
In George’s work, the material is the hero. He says he works "to promote the truth of materials, achieved by leaving them in their raw, unfinished state. Objects add to the infinite possibilities."
